Customer reported that their Maytag dryer wasn’t heating and the door wouldn’t close properly. After a full diagnostic, we identified a blown thermal fuse and a broken door latch, along with a buildup of lint throughout the system.
Performed a complete diagnostic on a Maytag dryer with no heat and a door that wouldn’t shut. Found a blown thermal fuse preventing heating, and a worn-out door latch causing the closure issue. Recommended a full lint cleaning for safety and efficiency. Cleaned the internal components, replaced the fuse, cleaned and lubricated the drum support rollers, replaced the door latch, and cleared the entire vent duct. Dryer is now heating efficiently and working like new. Customer was very satisfied with the result.
